The SweetPlay team contacted Yommi Play during the early concept stage, with the intention of creating a candy-themed Indoor Playground that could stand out in a competitive family entertainment market while remaining highly efficient in daily operation. In the initial discussions, the client shared their vision for a bright, joyful space designed primarily for open play and repeat family visits rather than event-based traffic. They were particularly focused on maximising play density within a limited floor area, maintaining clear visibility for parents, and ensuring that children of different ages could share the space safely. Through multiple rounds of layout review and functional analysis, our design team helped the client refine their priorities, turning a visual theme into a practical operating concept that balanced attraction value with long-term usability.

Based on the confirmed 1480 sqm site, Yommi Play developed a compact yet layered layout that emphasises vertical circulation and continuous movement. Upon entering, visitors are immediately drawn toward the central multi-level structure finished in purple, yellow, and soft pink tones. Transparent pods and tunnel connections allow children to move freely between levels while keeping sightlines open across the entire venue. The slide zone and ball pool were positioned as the visual and functional core, naturally guiding traffic inward and redistributing players after each activity. Peripheral climbing and balance elements create secondary play loops that reduce congestion in peak hours. This zoning strategy ensures that play remains fluid, supervision remains easy, and every square meter contributes to both experience quality and operating efficiency in this Indoor Playground.

Most children begin their route at the ninja challenge entrance, where low-height obstacles, stepping pads, and hanging elements provide an active warm-up without creating pressure. This zone encourages body control and coordination while gradually building confidence.

Moving forward, children naturally gravitate toward the three parallel fibreglass slides, selecting different heights and speeds according to their age and ability. The side-by-side layout generates friendly competition, short waiting times, and a high replay rate, which keeps traffic moving smoothly.

After landing from the slides, children gather around the ball drop machine and begin feeding soft balls into the clear intake openings. They watch the balls travel upward through the tubes as the chamber slowly fills. When the system reaches its limit, a shower of balls is released from overhead, covering the area in motion. Children laugh, run through the falling balls, and quickly start the cycle again, turning this zone into a constant centre of interaction and repeated play.

After opening, SweetPlay Broomfield quickly built a stable base of local family visitors and school-age traffic, with particularly strong performance during afternoons and weekends. The client reports smooth daily operation, low staff intervention requirements, and consistent repeat visits driven by the venue’s clear circulation and balanced activity mix. Parents appreciate the open visibility and organised layout, while children remain engaged through repeated play cycles. This project reflects Yommi Play’s focus on creating spaces where product design, user experience, and emotional connection work together naturally.
